Giving Back to the community

Meet our two Giving Back recipients!

Congratulations to the following local not-for-profit organisations who have been chosen to recieve a $500 funding grant from our Giving Back Program.  Honeywood Primary School P&C and Fury Netball Club were chosen from the July to September 2019 submissions. The submissions for next quarter are now open, so make sure you send your application through for consideration.

Congratulations to Honeywood Primary School P&C.

Established in 2017, Honeywood Primary School isn’t just focused on educational outcomes, but also values equally, the social and emotional needs of children in primary school. The Honeywood Primary School P&C are small but are mighty and very enthusiastic. They work tirelessly to raise funds for resources and infrastructure that is vital in meeting the social and emotional needs of the kids, which includes a Sensory Garden.

The Sensory Garden will be established on a 170sqm block and will be used to grow food, plus flowers and ornamental grasses and the establishment of compost beds and worm farms.  The funds from Giving Back will be used to help maintain the Sensory Garden.

Congratulations to Fury Netball Club.

With over 100 players, from 5 years to ladies teams, Fury Netball Club offers opportunities for both social and competitive teams. Fury Netball Club will use the $500 grant for the purchase of equipment, such as kit bags, first aid kits, balls, bibs, timers whistles and training equipment.
